The Asia Cup 2022 schedule was released a few days ago by Jay Shah on social media. Six Asia Cup will play this year. Five of them, namely, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan have already qualified for the tournament. Hong Kong topped the ASIA CUP 2022 for the qualifiers stage and has entered Group A.

This year, the United Arab Emirates will play host to the Asia Cup. For the second time in the tournament’s history, the matches will be played in the T20I format. India is the defending champions of the competition.

With the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 approaching, all teams will be keen to finalise their combinations and gain momentum heading into the mega event in Australia. Here are all the details you need to know about the Asia Cup schedule.

India, Pakistan and Hong Kong will form Group ‘A’, and Group ‘B’ consists of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The teams in the same group will play against each other once. After all group stage matches are over, the top two teams from both the groups will qualify for the Super Fours.

The group stage will start on August 27 and conclude on September 2. All matches will start at 7:30 PM IST
