There will be a T20 International series of 7 matches between Pakistan and England in Pakistan before T20 World Cup . English Cricket Board and Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed that the English team would tour Pakistan in September 2022 for 7 matches of the T20 International series. It is after 17 years that England is going to Pakistan to have international matches. This series will be very important for both sides, and it will be a very good opportunity for the Pakistan team to dominate over England at home.

England team is very strong and will look forward to one more clean performance in the series. Jos Buttler will handle the captaincy of the England team, and Babar Azam will lead the Pakistan side in the series. It will be a very good series for both teams as after the series, both the teams will depart to Australia for ICC T20 World Cup.

Head to head record in T20I between England and Pakistan goes in favour of the English team. England has strongly dominated over Pakistan in T20I cricket. Both teams have played 15 matches against each other till now, and England has won 10 times while Pakistan has won only 4 times out of 15.

First four T20 matches will be hosted in Karachi stadium. The pitch of Karachi is suitable for batsmen, and a good high scoring game is expected from both sides. Fast bowlers will enjoy bowling on this surface, and the Pakistan team has quality fast bowlers on their side. Remaining 3 matches will be played in Gaddafi Stadium.
